A Good Reminder and A Lesson In Love

First, I want all you wives and/or mothers to go read this:

Secondly, go watch this video:

Third, I've been in quite a funk the past few days and I'm finding it hard to get out of it. It scares me to be perfectly honest, because it reminds me of who I used to be: the girl with depression. I've been doing my best to not let it get me all the way down, but I'm still in that funk. What are some things you do to help yourself feel better when you're feeling funky?

First and foremost you must remember that you are an amazing wife, mother, friend, sister and woman. Now, with that out of the way, getting out of a funk? I go through several routines which include eating up to five pounds of chocolate, baking anything sweet until my friends and family go into a sugar coma and wallowing in my own self pity. I find the self pity quite useful because it reminds me that things aren't really as bad as I think they are. And if that doesn't work, I mope around more and then get distracted by, either something worse, or something really awesome. Then I get on with myself, and luckily I have the worst memory ever, and I forget why I was in a funk in the first place...

I love you so much! I am also SO proud of you and the progress that you make each day, even when some are downer days! Not gonna lie, some of the self realizations and inspirations that you discover each day are incredible and are way more perceptive than I ever could be! Drive on!
